Background

Kate Dumouchel is a graphic designer based in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Enrolled in the Graphic Design program at NBCCD, she studies full-time while exploring creative movement as a dance instructor. Kate began her career in art during the 2019 pandemic after feeling inspired by UX/UI design in her computer science studies. She now specializes in posters and advertising while maintaining strength in illustration and logo creation.

 

Kate enjoys a minimalist approach to graphics while maintaining the importance of information hierarchies. In her personal life, she leans towards botanical themes with airy bright colour palettes; always being surrounded by numerous house plants and a sunny bedroom. Keeping up with new trends in technology is both a motivational and inspirational tool for her, and something she values greatly.
